Wondering if anyone has any updates on the evacuated oil pan issue?

For my car I have determined that it is necessary to pull a vacuum on the pan to aid in depressurizing the pan so the turbos oil outlet is allowed to flow freely and not compress oil through the seals. I have the absolute largest oil outlet the turbo housing will allow, so I must do something to alleviate the pressure.

I also am wondering if anyone knows any theoretical/real reasons why perhaps too much vacuum in the pan and connected associated systems may be a bad thing? and whether or not it would be smart to limit the amount of vac pulled on the pan?

I am working with a friend on setting up a pressure switch activated vacuum pump that takes over and pulls vac in the pan as the car starts to go out of vac.
Wondering if anyone has a similar system they would like to share.

Was also throwing around the idea to run a venturi type access point to the DP similar to how a V8 exhaust manifold is to get a sort of rising rate vacuum source that would not require any supplementary systems that could potentially fail to solve the problem.


Another basic question that comes to mind is how come this was never a problem with the twins? I am not sure I understand where the problem is coming from even under standard boost pressures with a single turbo depending on who you are?
