Can any of you guys tell me how to go about polishing my UIM ??

No one wants to be bothered with getting in between the runners so I guess it looks like I have to do it myself. I actually had the original one chromed and it came out like crap so I'm going to try polishing another one. Yet another case of if you want it done properly, do it yourself.

Please post or pm me if you have any experience doing this or at least have seen it done.

My guess is a Dremmel tool, some sanding paper/micro fine and a buffer ?!?!

It can't be that hard ..can it ?

PS - I don't live in the US of A and I think shipping the UIM to have it polished may not be very cost effective.

Thanks a mil all,

TwinTurboTeddy does alot of polishing from what I've heard. You may wanna PM him to get some idea on how to.

I would think it's better to do it yourself so you don't have to take it off. Just cover up the engine bay except the part you are working on.
