turboing an n/a

i know i know swapping a turbo motor into an na shell is a pain in the you know what... but i would like to rebuild the motor that is in my na and boost it... i am big into dsms and i just sold mine and every one and their brother seems to have a dsm now so i want somethin different... so i really dont know to much about turboing an na... well i get the basic idea but just like any car their is tricks... like what apex seals to go with and what port job to go with and what tunning and what turbo and all that other stuff so any help i would love to have
thanks
tony

swapping is less a pain than botsting a na.

If you get a T2 drivetrain, all you have to do is install it (motor, trans, ECU, harness). If you turbo an N/A you have to deal with tuning a standalone ECU, doing all the wiring, and making sure your turbo is well suited to the motor. And that is just the beginning. I am sure there are many small obstacles you would have to deal with.

well im not going anywhere near stock! even if i swapped the t2 drivetrain i still want some questions answered like...previouly stated... what port job and what ignition and stand alone and what apex seal size and such and such... you guys get the idea
