Turbo Setup Help
I'm looking for about 400- 450 horsepower on my TII. I’ve been looking at different
turbo options and have heard lots of good things about TO4E 60-1 in terms of reaching this much horsepower and keeping good spool up time. This is a mainly street car and has no street ports and I don't really want to open the engine up because it's been running good and I want to keep it that way. What I'm not sure about is the A/R sizing they come in .58, .69, .81, and .96. Not sure which size would give me the right mix of power and spool up for the street. Also anyone that could give me a little more insight on trim levels of this turbo N, O, P and some the other little options that help the turbo's life. But any recommendations of turbo setup's and personal experience is appreciated and any ifno on places where you can get a good price on these turbo's. Thanks Ryan |
I have decided to go with the 60-1 as well. I have read many good things about it and it has been advised to me by many respectable rotorheads.
Reliability is definatly going to be a topic by not streetporting. To get the kind of numbers you want your going to have to run more boost, thus effecting your reliability. I have opped for .96 A/R. The larger A/R the more power, slower spool up time, and more lag. I have heard good things about .96 on the street. I don't know alot about trims. I would Private Message RETed for more info. He is very knowledgable when it comes to this stuff. You can go to his site www.fc3s-pro.com. Hope this helps |
