turbo lines

Is it hard to make return and feed lines for turbochargers???..I heard of places that sells the steel braided lines but i think if i make it myself i will save alot of $$$. Has anyone done their own SS lines for their turbochargers???

Its actually kinda easy. Are you using a custom turbo setup? Most of the kits come with the lines.
Take your turbo to the speed shop and buy fittings and the right length of hose. Dont but that crappy braided hose. The russle lines are very good. The fittings run from about $8 - $18 a piece. You shouldnt need more than 6 feet of hose and 6 fittings. If you are using the turbonetics style turbo then you have to but a flange for the output side and a fitting to fit that, The input side is threaded and you can find a fitting that will work with that side. Kits = more money for shit that you can do.

Im going full turbo. I didnt buy it as a kit. It came with me without the lines and that's why i want to make it myself. Like you said it will save me alot of money. I will take your advice though. Thanx!

Greg is right. You may be able to use some of the stock oil line flanges for your setup, or see what Turbonetics has.

I will first contact TURBONETICS and see what they have for my set-up. And then if its affordable i will go ahead and buy it from them if worst comes to worst i will make it myself.
