To4r ?
Well I am getting ready to make the jump to single, but after reading a thread on A/R's and trims I hope I have made the right choice. Stock port motor coupled with TO4R that has a .70 A/R and a Q trim wheel. If there is anything I have overlooked feel free to advise but I think this will give a pretty kickass powerband. Should I go to another size wheel I've heard tubonetics has an R trim wheel and should I get the wheel clipped to a certain degree opinion please. thanks:)

I have a P-trim wheel with a .84 A/R and am very happy with it on the stock ports. I plan on changing it to a .96 A/R when I port my motor though.

i have a 1.0 ar with q trim. car made 440 at 1bar ported. very response, not much lag. love it.

I'm also interested in the T04R for a streetported 13BT. I'm thinking about getting the .96 A/R, P-trim using the HKS cast.
Anyone with similar turbine/motor specs able to chime in on when to expect full boost, and when to expect the "rush" of power to come on at? |
I'm with Infini IV on almost the same spec.

i got a t04r .7 cold with .96 ptrim rear on the hks cast. i dont have it tuned yet but i get 7 lbs before 3000 in fourth and about 15lbs a littel after 4krpms. this is in fourth.

im going for this turbo too!! are you buying a kit or peicing it together yourself?
|
Ya, im interested in this turbo for a large street ported s4 or s5 turbo engine. I want to go to a haltech and all the rest of the standard stuff. So it sounds like you guys really like the to4r with about a .96 or 1 ar and p trim for the ported engines? Mine will be road raced.
