TD04L will it work?
 

I have got a TD04L Turbo and am wondering if it will work for a single turbo setup.
and if so what are the differences between that and the TdO4E.

I also saw a site that compared Dyno sheets and you could overlay them.I think that i got it as a link from this can anybody remember what itwas.

the fc is a single turbo factory... do you have a fd?

I think you're getting your nomenclature confused.

A "TD04" is a Mitsubishi turbo, and it's too small.
I dunno what a "TD04L" is.
I dunno what a "TD04E" is.

"T04E" is a Garrett *family* of turbos.

The TD04 turbo's were used on the UK/Euro/Jap versions of the Subaru Impreza. They are like the HT10's in some respects, i.e. they will run out of go quickly.

Thanks for your help.yeah your right the td04 is of an impreza my mate got it off someone for a project which he never did. I've done some looking about and T04 seems to be the way to go. just have to find one now.... oh yeah the car is a 92 FD3s Jap import type RZ .RHD .Only had it for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with it except for the smoke screen it sends out the back every now and then.I'll take some pics the next time i clean it and post them on the site

putting a single on a fd takes some work. you need more then just a turbo.

Like I said before, one TD04 is too small.
