t67 turbo a/r
 

Hi. Im about to buy a t67 turbo from compturbo.com and need some opinions on exhaust a/r.

Specs:

Compressor wheel - Inducer 66.7mm Exducer 84.0mm

Compressor housing - 4" inlet 2.5" outlet (non antisurge)

CHRA - Oil Only

Exhaust wheel - P-trim


My motor is stock ported. Which a/r should I run? Im thinking either a/r 84 divided, or a/r 96 which I think is not divided cant really tell in the specs.

Will a/r 84 divided be too small? And what HP can I expect out of this turbo?

The 67 is a little big for a stock port, but time has shown them to be good for a strong 420+ at the wheels. If you are going to eventually port the motor get the 67, if you are planning on running the stock port for a while you might want to look at the 61 or the t04s with a p-trim and a .96 undivided or the 1.00 divided exhaust housing. Although with the smaller turbo's a strong 400 at the wheels is more realistic the response difference will make the car much more drivable and much more fun.

The motor will be ported next winter. Actually the exhaust ports are a little ported (smoothed out by the sleeve) but I guess it wont make much difference.

I want a turbo that has decent spool. How do you think the t67 with a/r 84 divided will spool? I also got a real good price on this turbo so it will be cheaper than a smaller turbo like t04s.

Depends. I have a 60-1 and a T67. My t67 has the .96 undivided hot side and my 60-1 has a .84. The T67 is at full boost 13psi by 3500 rpms. My 60-1 is at full boost 16psi just a little under 3000 rpms. It depends on what you want the car to do. The .96 undivided will be much better in the upper rpm range. If you want more of a stock feel then go for the .84 but it will suffer a little up top past 7000 rpms. I can post a picture of the exhaust ports later tonight when I am home. Hope that helps.

an 84 will spool quick and make good power on a stock port.. it will choke at high boost levels but on low boost pump gas it will do great

The car will be used on both track and street. Full boost at 3500rpm isnt too bad imo, I think I can live with that when driving on the street.

Hi! 95 octane is about 12,30 kronor or almost 2$ per Liter.

What do you consider high boost levels?

Went with the .96 a/r.

high boost levels are determined by what type of gas your using and injector size.. for pump gas 18 would be considered high boost
