t51r-kai smoking after full boost, help!!

I am using -6 for oil feed line with restrictor. Tried -4 no restrictor still smokes. There is some oil going into my intercooler pipe and I assume there must be oil coming out the turbo down to the downpipe. Just had the turbo rebuilt. The car only smokes when I let off the throttle under full boost. My turbo bad or should I keep trying different oil feed line and different restrictor?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

why dont you buy restrictor from HKS. or check your oil return line. make sure you have big enought return line. (this happend to my HKS T04ZBB, )

so my suggestion using bigger return line. if still not fix the problem, buy restictor from HKS

I have the same problem. In my case I believe that the BOV isn’t doing its job at full boost. When I get the energy I plan to hook a boost gauge into the wastegate line to look for a spike when the throttle closes.

My turbo didn’t do this when 1st installed though, its been around 500mi & ~10 dyno runs before the smoking started, so I suspect that the BOV situation has slightly damaged the turbo (too much shaft play I would imagine).

what exactly do you have for a restrictor? what crankcase ventilation do you have? describe the size, and installation of your return. Most likely, you have an issue with some combination of the above. Carl
