Stockport Turbo

Hey guys,

Im trying now to find out which turbo to create my build, Now Im trying to get away from people telling me to port it - as I dont have a enough money to start rebuilding incase I screw it up. (And Ill port it possibly down the road)

Trying to research which turbo works properly with a 13B S4 Turbo Motor, I plan on purchasing the turbo, and then building the motor to suit.

The current goal is 325-350 Wheel Horsepower, BUT HOW!

Please help as I plan to start my build over Christmas break and need to order soon!

Thanks guys,
Spence

Erm, I wish I knew more heh

Where could I find one of those? or what should I look for? (I usually dont see turbo styles and names that long, and Im clueless)

Sorry for the noobsauce-ness :(

(Ive also heard of a few people using Diesel Truck Turbos, as well as some stock turbos from Evos and some weird Euro cars, anyone tried this?)

Thanks,
Spence

OK

turbo piston car = to small of a hotside, end of discussion
diesal truck turbine generally equals shitty spool suitable only for upper end flow

some guys use the isuzu truck intercooler, but not the turbo, some guys in PR use the turbo, but only cause they pre-spool with nitrous, and use it only for quarter mile.

FWIW I almost always have a used turbo kit for sale, matter of fact, got a HKS to4e kit for FD3s, not sure if it would work with the FC3s or not though, it will bolt onto motor but turbine placement might not allow it to fit with the air pump etc.

320 is easy with the stock twins. 350 at about 15psi is also not had to make.
Go full+ non-seq with the twins and safe a lot of money.

If you want 320-350 and almost stock responce with a single, go GT35R .82 turbine AR. Contact A-Spec.

He has a FC not FD, notice the "13B S4 Turbo Motor" in the first post.

First, just get a hybrid. With the power your looking for, go head and splurge on the stage 4/5. Its expensive but still cheaper then a full T4 turbo set up. If you have the extra cash and want a full T4 setup then the power your looking at the T04E 57 or 60 trim is exactly what I would have reccommended. You need to do some MAJOR researching, as the spoon feeding will eventually stop and you'll find yourself with not knowing enough and end up with blow up bits because you didn't educate yourself enough and not building things correctly (READ FUEL AND IGNITION CONTROL AND HARDWARE). I'm not saying this so you can start a slew of more questions. Don't get me wrong this place is for that kinda stuff, but it also is all archieved and been taught, said, documented, and disscussed over and over theres no need to be spoonfeed unless your lazy or truely wont ever get the project going (day dreaming or window shopping). If your rebuilding right now and NOT porting, then that is the silliest thing I've ever heard. If the engines going to be apart and your broke, PORT IT YOURSELF. Theres litteraly hundreds of threads on how to on this forum and other rotary forums(nopistons has better porting tech Q/A's).

So, inshort... get a hybrid or have one built (SEARCH HYBRID) BNR does well, but kinda pricey.

I know you don't want to hear it again, but not porting your engine while its apart is just plain silly. THERES NO PARTS TO BUY!!!!

Easier to say FB, FC, and FD then the many S versions.

Seems to be hard to find a T04E in my town or whatever, there are a couple local ones that look great but I dont know how a rotary would handle them

http://www.driftwest.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1641 That guy said he would part out his turbo for rather cheap around $500 I believe

If anyone has a turbo or knows one for sale please let me know,

Thanks guys
Spence

Are you looking for just the turbo or a complete kit?
