Stock oil cooler with 60-1?
Can the stock oil cooler on my '87 TII handle the requirements of my 60-1?
I have two stock oil coolers, If I weld those togeather would that be enough? Chris |
I would say that the stock setup is going to be more than enough to cool the oil for your engine/turbo. If anything your probably putting less heat into the oil by running a single. If you want you can always put a oil temp gauge in the oil line and see what it reads. I'd do that before tring to make two oil coolers into one.

but check the oil line. they are prone to leak.

which oil line? the two from the cooler or the turbo?

The oil line to turbo is metal pipe and I think it will survive no problem.
But the one from oil cooler to engine is not. I am not 100% sure as mine is replaced with earl's before i own it |
