Single turbo vacuum hose question....
 

Ok I need to know exactly what lines to block off for the single turbo. I have already done alot of them(rats nest out and other stuff removed), but there are a few that are in question.

I was looking that the single turbo hose diagram from a thread a while back and have questions on its accuracy. First of all it shows the PCV valve blocked off. Is this correct? If it is how do you block off the lower line off of the oil filler neck?

As for the two that are ? marks that I see to be vacuum lines for the oil injectors. Since they still need to be used, should I T-junction them and connect them to something? If so, connect them to what, manifold pressure or something?

Ok 2 down. Now what do I do with the pressure and vacuum chambers?

I have more questions, but will tackle just these 3 first.

You don't need many hoses. Essential ones that come to mind are fuel pressure regulator, map sensor, boost controller, wastegate, and blowoff valve.

T the oil injectors to a constant source of vacuum like stock. You'll probably have to tap a nipple in to theturbo inlet. Alot of people just run it to the manifold though. I'd eliminate the pcv and run it to a catch tank.
Get rid of all the bs solnoids, the rack, and the tank and vacuum chamber.

There are 2 PCV lines in the 93 and 94's. For the 95 setup the factory removed the PCV valve and the line it needed to leave only one line running to the intake side of the turbo. The problem with the 95 setup on a singled FD is that there is rarely a place to hook up on the intake side of the turbo. If you do have a place to hookup I would do that and remove the PCV valve. But if not your only choice is to cap that line to the intake (which you most likely did when you put your turbo in) and keep the PCV valve and line.

Of course if you like oil smoke billowing out of your exhaust intermittently at idle you can cap both of them. :) I tried this for a while but it got to be a bit embarrassing at stop lights.

Ok everything is back on and solved except these two hoses(see attached picture).

What does each go to? I think one is for ventilation on the other side of the PCV valve, but not sure.

Number 2 is the 2nd PCV line that goes to the intake side of your turbo. Mine is capped because I dont have anyplace to hook into on that side of my turbo. As long as you keep your PCV valve you can cap it.

I will have to see the other side of #1 to tell you what I did with it. I think that line ran to a large vertical nipple on the lower intake and that is also capped on mine. Take a pic of the other end for me.

This is the second line I am talking about(see attached picture). It went to the factory Y-Pipe. So the problem really wasn't what is it, but rather what to do with it.

my bad

forgot to attach it...

cap it...the only thing you would be doing if you connected it to your manifold is bypassing your intercooler (only a little bit though).
