Single Turbo Project. Your Opinions.

Hello ppl.

I've got a blue 2000 Type R FD and finally found the money to go single turbo on my stock engine. Here is what i'm about to order tomorrow so i need your opinions.

HKS BB T51R-KAI turbo kit.
Greddy FMIC 3 row IC
Fluidyne radiator
Haltech E6K ECU
fuel upgrades.
HKS twin plate clutch.

Already got HKS hiper dumper, 3" cat back exhaust, AVS 17" rims+ Potenza S-03 tyres, Blitz SBC-iD boost controller + power meter, Blitc DC gauges pressure/temp/boost

It's the new engine FD JDM 280ps stock. Planning to import a street ported engine in the future.

What do you think?

well... the "new jdm" engine... is no different... the extra power that they get is from the turbos.... and i dont see the point in getting a twin plate clutch... soo much money.... but if u have it to spend.... u might want to look at a midpipe... and perhaps a port job... a large streetport... or bridge;)..... there is no reason to import an engine... there are more than qualified individuals in the good ol usa that can build GREAT engines... and with a tid bit of searching u can find them...

The T15 Kai appears to work well with extended ported engines.
