Single turbo harness

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys
I need a little help
Am going single turbo and would be running a bws300 and a Pnp adaptronic ecu..
I had gotten a single turbo harness from a 93 fd same year as my car but it looks the same to me.. Is there any way I can get rid of the rats nest?? And won't get any problems with vacumm ?? I see so many people do it but haven't seen any post on it... I do want to still use the oil injectors!! But how can I get rid of the rest and plugs.. I know am going to have to open up the harness to remove some of the plugs but which ones??
Here are some pics
Any info would help
Thanks jc

Where did you get that "single turbo" harness?

Some guy on here.. but looks like he was still running emission if that's possible. On a single set up

Looks like a factory harness for the twins.

The business end of a harness converted for a single turbo looks more like this:

Can anyone give a list of what to delete when going single??

A friend told me it would be all the emissions and plugs.. then I would need to buy a block off kit for like $50. FD3s RX-7 Block Off Plates
I just took off my stock harness and label it for now.

yea if you don't have block off plates you need them.. will make things 10x cleaner

I would contact the person that sold that harness to you as a single turbo harness and ask them to clarify what exactly has been modified causing them to refer to it as a single turbo harness. It seems you may have sold a harness that was falsy represented as a single turbo harness. If your harness is in good enough condition to modify and the same thing you just bought, you probably didn't need to spend the money on it. I'm working on a full list of the plugs and their labels from the manual as well as their wire colors. I'm modifying my harness this winter too. Send me your email and I can send you what I've put together so far. I still need to list what gets removed and what are options to remove or keep.

Looks like a handy solution here:

Mil-spec Tucked 13B Harness (FD3S/Rx7)

Anyone tried them?

There is a thread on what exactly needs to be done to make a factory harness into a single harness. I'm on a phone so my search function is lame, otherwise I'd link it for you. It's what I followed when I did my harness the first time. It tells you exactly what each connector is and how to remove the components depending on what you want to run in particular.

Yeah so I contact the guy that sold me the harness and he told me that he left the emission and plugs ect. on there.. So I started to convert the harness on my own. The reason why am keeping it is because am also doing an manual tranny swap on my car. Which was an automatic and the harnesses are different I found some post on here that show you what to remove!! Is not a hard job if you've done electrical work before. Am going to make a video and post it on my YouTube channle to help people out there... I'll keep you guys posted
Here's what I found

And remember guys the 93 fd harnesses are different because of the airbags on the passenger side. Not sure about the engine bay but under the dash yep..
