Single Turbo front mount IC Apexi or Greddy

Working with a ported FD on a single to4e XS kit what 2 row IC front mount kit Greddy or Apexi?

Thanks, Jeff

both intercoolers are good kits. i doubt there will be hardly any hp difference between the two, so just get which ever one you think looks better, and is easier to install (do a search on the 3rd gen forum for that).

you also might wanna check out the William's Tuning FMIC at www.turbostreetfighter.com . these three are the best FMIC kits, IMO.

Not that it's any larger, but by the way the Greddy unit is placed, you'l have to cut a good portionh of your bumper to fit it in. The Apexi bolts right in, with no cutting. I think the Greddy is also $400 more...

You have to cutaway alittle metal outing the light housing support with the Apex. Takes about 5 minutes with the right tools. I used a Dremel with a cutaway disc.

Either ones works fine but if you are planning to run more than 15psi then you have to go with the 3ROW FMIC from Greddy and anything less than 15psi you could settle for the 2ROW FMIC.

this question is always asked but never answered:

what will happen if you run less than 15psi...like around 11 or 12...with a 3 row??

I think the turbo has to work harder and makes more heat.
