Go to Regan Rotary Racing .com it was super helpful for me when I went single.

There are several reputable vendors on here who offer "said" turbo kits. Give them a call and I'm sure they will sort you out. You'll just need to figure out you budget, goals, timeline etc. Good luck.

there is much more that you need to do a good job, other then just a turbo kit.
here's a quick list of things I remember, including some of the more obscure stuff. Turbo Manifold Downpipe Wastegate(s) Oil feed hose / fittings. Oil feed adapter fitting for engine block. Turbo oil drain. Flange, hose, fittings, and a way to connect it back to the sump. Block off un-used rear turbo oil return on engine. Make / buy plate? Emissions block off plates Intercooler / piping / clamps Move your battery somewhere, somehow. Wire, electrical fittings, fuses etc Fuel pump. Wiring, relay, fuses etc. Fuel Rail Fuel Hose / fittings to suit whatever rail etc you decide on Fuel pressure regulator Injectors Blow-off valve ECU Vacuum hosing / clamps to suit wastegates, BOV Vacuum caps in various sizes So yea, there many things you will need. And many of the parts will require other small obscure parts to install / make them work. Im sure there's lots i have forgotten. |
What are you power goals, and what is the car to be used for? Street, street/strip, full race etc?

Other things to look at would be v-mount vs FMIC vs a bigger stock mounted intercooler, water injection options, and a larger full exhaust (3' is fine) in general. Even small single turbos are gonna be flowing a lot more exhaust than the stock setup/tune, especially with the emissions equipment removed. Have you thought about which turbo you're going to go with? |
Going single on a relatively stock car can easily a $6000-10,000 or more job for a professional shop to do by the time you add all the parts listed above and associated labor and tuning. Most people who think they can do it cheaper are either well mechanically inclined and able to do their own work, or end up with a very poorly sorted car that is a ticking time bomb. If you are interested I would be more than happy to go over everything with you.
