Single Fuel Systems
I'm currently stockpiling parts to go single. I was wondering if it RX7Store.net's Extreme Fuel System is worth the money or would it be cheaper to piece my own together? It comes out to $642.75 shipped to me.
http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/extremefuelfd.htm Any ideas? *Edit* Going single using GT35R |
Over the past few years I have probably sold a few hundred of that setup. Its a pretty common setup for a single turbo car.

It seems piecing it together is more expensive than the kit. I have heard great things about Rx7stores kits. I am going the with the Ultimate kit for my single.
I don't like factory rails, old injectors, and fuel pulsation dampeners. What may cost a few hundred less initially, can cause problems down the road. Fuel is something you don't want to skimp on, especially if you plan on turning up the boost later. |
i waited for a blow enging part out. it is pretty economical and they only have 2k-10k miles on them usually :-P and a blown engine doesnt hurt the injectors, unless something crazy happened.
unless you are getting new parts then, this seems reasonable. :-) |
dont skimp on your fuel system. buy it new. It is a great kit. G

I have the ultimate fuel system from rx7 store. Brand new, never put on the car. All i did was just have the injectors flow tested (pettit did it for me when i had my motor rebuilt.) ill sell it for $740 (negotiable) pm me if interested.

RX7Store Fuel System
The RX7store set up is awesome. I think its a good price as well. when you start lookin up stuff individually you see how costly it gets. Those Big enjectors are over 100 a piece. Then you add a FPR, all the fittings and line. it adds up fast! and you get a good lookin fuel rail. I saved myself the trouble and went with the RX7store setup and im completly satisfied! (Thanks again Zavier and Jason)

Hello rotaryfreinds,
I am thinking about getting this RX7 store fuelsystem, my question is, I have the stock (BNR) turbo setup, will it fit my setup ? thanks in advance guys. Rene DENMARK |
When you say BNR are you talking stage 3 turbos? All of the fuel systems will work with it. If you are running sequential then you will have to move some stuff out of the way depending on which system you go with.

thanks for your reply, I have the stage 2 BNR stock sequential turbos, and the system I am thinking of is your RX7 store extreme fuel system ;) I already have removed a lot of things on the motor, but what exactly do I have to remove when I still have the sequential turbos ? Allso, would you think the BOSCH injectors coming with the kit will be ok or would you recommend me to go with the ID2000 Injectors? Thanks in advance. Rene Denmark |

Since you are running sequential turbos you will need to move some stuff on the rats nest of hoses under the manifold. That is really the hardest part. Bosch injectors work fine but ID2000 are a better injector and you don't need that much injector for those turbos.

Thanks for your reply ;-) I will look into it very soon and order the parts, so you think that the BOSH injectors will work just fine with my setup ? As it is now, the car have been dynoed to 420 HP at 1.1 bar boost. Thanks in advance. Rene Denmark |
