Rich Idle on ID 2000 Primaries

I'm running ID 2000 injectors in my primary fuel rail and my idle is very rich. It's usually in the low 10's. The car runs fine in general but it hurts throttle response when you initially crack open the throttle open and can make for a somewhat fumy experience with so much un-burned fuel coming out of the exhaust.

While the injectors obviously offer a wide range of operation, are they to limited to supply the low requirements needed in the primary rail at idle?

Obviously its overkill to run them as primaries, but have others had success achieving a lean idle with them or should I stop fighting it and just go smaller?

Make sure your offsets are correct injector dynamics has a chart for all your voltages vs pressure.

what ecu?

I have run ID2000's as primaries on both of my cars. I think the limitation is solely based on the ECU/tune on whether they can be idled at a low RPM/use in normal AFR's.

Sounds like it just needs some tuning work. We run those in the primary spots on all our shop Rx7s, both pump fuel and E85( with previous select and now the new modular ecus).
