? on resistor wiring

I installed the rx7.com fuel rail/1,600 cc/sxfpr/hpfp combo. I am running the PFC/datalogit/commander.

I understand that you can wire the resistor in line on the heavier red/white wire on the provided harness for the injector (does it matter which wire.....closed loop?). I am soldering and shrinkwrapping the wires. Does it matter which wire on the injector harness I tie into?

What did you do witht the middle fuel rail (secondary) connector....fuel temp?????

Also, can you wrap/cover the resistor. If so, what would you suggest to wrap/cover with. Electrical tape isn't my thing!

Thanks.

I put my resistors in line on the "+" wire on each secondary. I think the stock injectors even have a little "+" on them.

Just leave the fuel temp connector disconnected.

I "wrapped" my resistors in some thin sheetmetal and made a holster for them and then bolted the little resistor bundle down under a bolt to hold them still.

Thanks.

The resistors I got from rx7.com with the kit are fairly large and rectangular. I like the idea of the sheetmetal casing. Do your resistors have the little holes for bolting down?

Nah, I got resistors from Radio Shack, soldered them in, and then just bent the sheet metal (pretty thin) around them like a burrito and then bent some little tabs of metal up around the top and bottom edges so they don't slide out. I left a flap of metal at the top and drilled a hole to put it under a nut and secured it like that.

I will probably get some large shrink wrap and wrap the whole resistor. I am not sure where I could mount them anyway.

Just zip tie the resistors to the fuel rail. That's what i did!
