Does anyone run a boost controller with dual wastegstes
I ran a manual boost controller on mine.
You just daisy chain the wastegates. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...c6f2253c0d.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...a6145de331.jpg |
I am running a fully divided manifold with independent wastegates (one per runner). My manifold is similar to the one posted above, except that the runners are just a tad longer, and the turbo is pushed forward.
I have used the ECU open loop boost controller successfully. The top port of each wastegate goes to a T, same with the lower port on the wastgates, they go to another T. Each T goes to its designated port on the solenoid |
Having problems with my set up since day one. It is bit and miss when the wastegates work correctly together. I am going to check It tomorrow.

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...e19934e32a.jpg here is my controller set to 13 psi. Bottom port of the wastegates "T" to port 1 of the solenoid "T" to compressor boost source. The top port of the waste gates "T" to port 2 on the controller solenoid. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...03080018d6.jpg It works for me.. |

Hmm. Mine is set up like this
The front port is for actuator type wastegate (stock twins), you need to use the side port for external gate.

Greddy electronic boost controller directions are confusing, it says the por 2 should be vented. I did some reading and I changed it around how is in the little graph.
Sorry, meant port 1.:o:
Ok. Got it so I should change the middle port to the side port. I tighten up some stuff and it seem to work a lot better. 1 and second gear saw so much boost though that the boost controller sent me into fuel cut. I'm third gear I held boost at 15 psi. Tomorrow I am going to switch it to the side port to see she runs. Thanks man. I believe the way the hoses are ran are also wrong.
