Oil restrictor too big?

I got my s5 t2 turbo rebuilt to a hybrid. My engine has high oil pressure regulator. I was wondering what size regulator should I use?

I built a plate to sandwich between the turbo oil feed line. I figured teh stock line was almost 1/4". I drilled the restrictor to 1/8", but I found this one website that sells turbo oil presssure restrictors and they were .035". Is my 1/8" too much?

Mine is about the size of a toothpick

if your turbo is a journal bearing (non-ball bearing) turbo the restrictor should be about .09 of an inch.

.035 is too small.

you can find a drill bit in that size amongst the Dremel stuff.

I know brian with bnr takes the factory oil feed line and welds it shut at the turbo side. Then he sands it down smooth and puts a very small hole right through the middle.

Hmmm, I might have drilled mine a little big then hugh? 1/8 is .125". I havent driven in high rpm's yet because of tuning, but I hope I dont blow the seals on the turbo
