Need Some Input on FMIC Ducting

SO.....

Getting ready to install ducting on my FC for my FMIC.

I basically am going to have the FMIC in front of the radiator, sandwiched against it.

On my oil cooler, i flipped it upside down and flipped the brackets around to make room for the FMIC.

My plan is to go up and over the oil cooler, and under the crossmember to the bottom of the intercooler, and seal the intercooler to the radiator.

Do you think this will be efficient enough?

and then use the bottom of the radiator duct as the top of the oil cooler duct like so.

Im just worried that it may not be enough air getting to the radiator through the intercooler.

My other idea was to build a duct straight to the intercooler, and leave the oil cooler right in the middle of it. But not only will the oil cooler not get sufficient air, but all the hot air is gonna go right into my IC/RAD.

So i want to get some input from anyone whos done it already, to see if maybe theres a better way. Ive seen Aaron Cakes build and he has a setup similar to mine. I never saw any picture of his ducting. Heres some more pics, let me know what you think.

try it! it seems like air temps might be a little higher, but oil temps should be nice and low. it would be interesting to see how that pencils out.

I'm assuming you're talking about the first idea in the pictures. Do you think thats enough air getting to the intercooler? What about water temps with the intercooler in front of it?

Any update on this? I finished my setup, but originally I was planning on doing this exact setup you have, Wonder how it would've turned out.

Never did the ducting. Bought a Koyo N-Flow, and never had any overheating problems.

Sandwich set up like that works fine. I have almost identical set up in my 8374 turbo fb. All temps are perfect. Just make sure all ducting is air tight to the radiator and dont worry about all the stuff in between. I dont know what your bumper looks like but if it lets air in you'll be fine.
