need help with dyno attachments
dynoed on a dynojet i want to post sheets . every time i try to upload attachments it just says please wait and doesnt do anything
|
It takes a long time......... email it to me ericcheatham@gmail.com . I will post it.
I heard you put up 418@ 15psi with ignition break up? |
418.3@15psi 347.8@12psi My last pull had some break up , my afrs were under 10 so i think the plugs got fouled. I probably should have put some in before i went but i didnt have time.
|
congrats on those #. I guess I might have detuned it a little too much. sounds like you can gain another 20-30rwhp by leaning it out. Either way, looks like the 20% is pretty accurate. You can email me the dyno chart and I'll post it for you.
|
Yep, I guess the 20% has been validated.
|
if i can get the sheets posted , from 6400 rpm to aropund 7000 rpm it was bouncing around, i was a little worried pluto, but it dropped back down to a smooth idle. afrs were in the 9's. Im changing plugs soon, but the car still drove fine light load and in boost on the way home.

with my #'s it is axis dyno reads 17.69% lower than a dynojet. dont know about other cars . 8 hp was the difference .
pluto how often should i change my plugs? |
do you have an ignition amp? I think you were running those EGV plugs? they tend to foul more often than the others but it burns the fuel more efficently. If you get a chance, try to redyno the car after the plugs were changed and see if you could gain the hp back.
also, check with the coil charge time. You can run as much as 4.5ms on the TII coils. i don't remembered what you were running when I tuned it.

Retard John needs to email me his dyno sheet so I can post it. |
you could also send me the sheet... please send the sheet vs RPM
did "books" dyno with you? as his difference was 4% on our Dynojet |

did "books" dyno with you? as his difference was 4% on our Dynojet You guys can relax now, the dyno dynamics dyno that we originally dyno'd on read low. Case closed. |
im relaxed just wondered why Books dyno dynamics runs was within about 4% differnce with our Dynojet...
the funny part i havent seen 1 dynosheet period throughout this entire situation till i assume now |

the funny part i havent seen 1 dynosheet period throughout this entire situation till i assume now Possibly because books "now has" a completely different tune w/racegas and the dyno reads low. Suprise, Suprise.... the dyno dynamics dyno reads low! :rlaugh: |
i dont think there was any doubt a dyno dynamics cradle dyno reads lower than a typically dynojet roller.... the question was if it was a 20% difference and at the same time a guy baselined his car on our dynojet and was within 4%.
can "John" post his original Dyno Dynamics dyno so you can overlap them with the dynojet sheet . I dont think (if i remember right) he posted that dynosheet???? you should see the 17% across the enire run. do you plan on going on a dynojet? |

Hell John can't figure out how to post his dyno sheet from yesterday let alone the one from last weekend. The boy smokes too much weed. Being half retarded doesn't help him much either :rlaugh: I won't be dynoing anytime soon. My mid to high 130 trap speeds should tell the tale. |
Ok everybody. Let's cool out.
John, congrats on some great numbers. Glad to see the car is doing what you want it to. I'll be looking forward to seeing the sheet. |

ASPEC GUYS
Why do you guys want to compare your dyno to the dyno dynamics dyno? I thought I read that you guys claim to be experts with the dynojet and that you also had dynojet come to *train* you? Why wouldn't you guys know why there's only 4% difference between the numbers if your dyno is supposedly *calibrated* correctly. Seems like you're trying to make it look like your numbers are also low compared to the standard dynojet so that when someone gets tuned by you, you can say its about 20% low as well. :) |
i know im not mad at u, i dont think its the pot that wont let me post attachments, i have aDD and have no patience for slow computers
