need bigger fuel rails?
Anyone know any places to buy fuel rails with bigger fittings? like -8? for my 13b fd? i have the cj kit, but fittings are so small, im at 550hp and the motor wants to go more, but its not getting enough fuel. the cj comes with the chinese -6, but there really like -4. i have enough pump 2 340's. but these fittings on the rails are way too small. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

FYI Full Function's bore is 1/2" which is standard for 6an. If the OP indeed needs 6an he's going to need a larger bore. We can make you rails for 6an up to 10an. Our bores are in these sizes. 6an = .500", 8an = .690", and 10an = .800".

You need bigger injectors and not rails. Just my opinion. Put 1000/1680 or all 1680cc be done.

Check fuel pressure under boost.

Personally it sounds like a weak pump. If you do want new rails you'll have to let me know the sizing. I'm pretty sure from what you said that you want 8an. Let me know what LIM you have as there are fitting issues to be addressed when going larger than 6an. Anyway, pm sent...

The cj rail is -8 fyi, u just need to change the fitting.

Changing the fitting doesn't do anything. 1/2" bore is 1/2" bore. If you put an 8an fitting on there it's going to neck down inside. Unless they have another design that I don't know of you'll be limited by the design.

1/2" is -8 lol...

thewird Ding ding ding, with the OP saying his cheap fittings are really like -4 changing the adapter from the rail to a -8 should be all he needs and could ever want. |
thread the rail for a larger fitting so the neck down is less.
