Most HP on Power FC?

Anyone know if anyone out there is making 500+ hp with the Power FC? I know Jason (rx7store) did like 501hp.

Anyone else make more?

ralph from xcessive is making close to 700hp with a power fc if i remember correctly, his screen name is xcessive on here or you can just check the rxtuner issue with the write up of his car with the old turbo set-up

Hmm, I'm just reading alot lately about how the power fc can't handle higher horsepower.

Ralph is one of the higher ones. But he runs his ignition setup different as well.

He runs no split, he has it wired so the coils all fire off the same signal I believe.

fire everything off the trailing :D

Eric,
Your really better off going with something like a Tec 3, Microtech, or Motec if you want to run high boost. I like the Tec3 because the ignition and trigger wheel is so accurate, it doesn't matter how much boost you run as long as the tune is right.

Well, Kan is coming to St.Louis next week so I'll have to deal with the pfc. Hopefully with vp c16, I can make some power.

The Apexi can handle high horsepower no problem.

This is a link with refence to an EVO but it shows that the PFC is fine for high HP; perhaps some of you just don't know how to map it correctly.

Im not going with what somebody says in a magazine or for another car application. For an RX7 and a 3bar map sensor the cells get to spread out to reliably tune a RX7. Maybe for a piston car you have more leeway on tuning, but not for our cars. So perhaps you'll need to do more research.
