Gordon Monsen perhaps? I believe he has a custom compressor or turbine. You can run a smaller housing on the rear. GReddy has three available if I remember correctly.

Get a n20 50 shot spool up kit! i raced a supra with a T-88 and that thing spoled at like "what looked like" 6,000 to 6,500 rpm. Or he was some dumb ass driving his daddys car

I just picked up my T78 kit today. I'll have a few pics up tomorrow. I was suprised to see that it was a divided turbine housing. I guess the T78 needs it. Anyway, I'll post pics tomorrow of everything. I "apparently" have an HKS manifold and not the GReddy manifold. Anyone know how to tell the difference between the two?

The greddy is a mitsu turbo! I don't think it's a TO4 flang? If it's greddy or HKS it will be casted into the manifold! Hope you have the same wastgate for whatever the manifold is?

how does turbo heat shield and dp wrap help the spool up????
|
by retaining heat in the exhaust, thus keeping velocity (force) high. Downsides to exhaust wrap include thermal fatigue however. I'm about to send my downpipe and turbine housing out to be coated with a 2000 degree Jet Hot coating. The downpipe is getting the inside and out treatment. I called GReddy about a new heat shield for my kit and was given no specifics. So I have a local GReddy dealer checking on it for me. If I can't find one, I'll probably use the Thermotec turbine blanket kit. I do believe there's a point where you can retain too much heat under severe conditions though.
