MAXED OUT!! Billet 6766 713whp at 40psi
 

well I finally got the chance to boost this bad boy all the way up. made 3 pulls over 700whp at 39-40psi out of the 6766. good amount of info to see just from the dyno graph. the turbo compressor is still flowing but is held back from the turbine wheel as it flat lines and starts to loose power after 7200 rpm. with the power being made so low it is crazy fast on the street and i could not hold traction with drag radials in 3rd at 40psi. so I turned it down to 35psi which is 670whp and was able to get a vbox pull 60-130mph in 4.91 and 100-150mph in 4.67 sec. those times equal about a 152mph trap speed at the 1/4 mile. here is the graph I can post up others to so all can see how the turbine side becomes too restrictive but compressor is still pumping. if the turbine was say 4-5mm bigger it would have been close to 750whp.

this turbo is most happy at 30psi going by the turbine wheel which is low 600s. but is still decent at 35psi 670whp. at 40psi it is pushing it as its becoming too restrictive but still does make power. overall very impressed with the precision 6766.

Congrats, those are some serious numbers! What fuel were you using?

What mods do you have done to the motor? Balance, clearance, dowel/stud, etc.

I'm hoping to push the GTX up to 40psi on my next motor; I'm staying around 30psi since the motor isn't clearanced.

That power band is incredible. Can you post the graph with rpm?

the dyno trips out picking up my tach signal dont know why but I would like to know tq as well im guessing its in the 550-575 range. I think I have 1 pull on lower boost with the tach signal I can post up

here is the best one I could pick up with tach signal and rpm. can see the big gap its missing. this is 34-35psi pull.

motor is balance , clearance and pinned. gas being used was c16

I'm curious about your ignition setup as well, I'm running out of room on my IGN-1A setup at 30psi.

Beat me to it , stock coils with twin power . Plug gap at .020

Good Lord that's alot of power for the street.

not at the moment, hope to have dyno numbers soon i plan on taking the car to get retuned on pump gas & water injection for the winter.

It would be really interesting to see what your exhaust backpressure is before and after the turbine when it's maxed out.

What is your compressor cover and what is your A/R? Are you runing any AI?

thanks guys. front cover is the H which is the bigger of the compressor covers and turbine housing is a 1.32 a/r. I am running 50/50 meth and water as well.

took it out tonight on 30psi and broke 3rd gear to pieces rolling while in the gear coming off brake boost trying to run a gsxr 1000. bike is fully modded , stretched and all. would have been a great run but now transmission #7 going in.

Save some transmissions for the rest of us :lol:

how much water/meth are you spraying at 25+ psi? 30 psi? and 35+?
