RHD chassis are no problem, we just did a 9180 with a 4" DP with miles to spare. Even with an xcessive Intake.

Both ways, Meth is a really good idea.

Thanks Gleaseman. its a Fb though - steering box, brake master, and bugger-all clearance to radiator.
i'm now thinking 8374 again. but 0.95 iwg or 1.05 ewg? On one hand the .95 will possibly spool better, but the 1.05 will require a lot less work when fitted to existing twin gate manifold, which has proven itself to have rock solid boost control.
Im going mad trying to decide!

This is exactly the problem/ thing that i'm doubting now.. i'm on stockports and am closing a deal on a EFR 8374 EWG and 1.05 housing. But worried about how my stockport engine is going to spool that big boy even though the manifold is very well made (48mm runners, equal length etc) but still..

Can't really find data of someone with stockports and on pump using that same turbo, so a bit worried about performance.

Phew, I'm not alone. I had the wastegates but no manifold and it was close thing which would come first: madness or a decision.

I don't think you will have a problem spooling an 8374 on stock ports, in fact if you had HUGE ports I would think it would spool worse than stock ports.

EFR8374 is a great turbo for these cars...no excellent.

Yeah, my decision was finally made easy when i got under the car yesterday to take measurements, noticed egr probes had come loose again and how fucking hard they are to get at with plumb back twin wastegates. Priced out some sch40 and flanges relatively cheap and nek minute I've put money down on an IWG 8374 with a well respected member on here!

To what exactly ?

Anyone care to chime in on the response difference of the .92 ar of the iwg vs 1.05 ar of the ewg for the 8374? I already have a ewg manifold and wastegate but im worried the 1.05 might not be responsive enough. It will be on a stock port fd and ideally be making boost sub 3500 rpm
