Interesting dyno run.....PIG RICH!

I had my car in a dyno comp at a local show in NZ last weekend and found a whole lot out about my car.

It was running so rich on low boost it was rich missing and had to pull out of the run. High boost it was PIG rich and only put down 435kw (has produced 480 on the same tune).

I had a look into the logs and found it was only registering a little over 1 Bar boost (was running 24psi on high boost)....found the car only has a factory MAP sensor.....:wallbash:

Called the tuner and the previous owner had not planned to go this far with the car (even though the motor was built for 800+hp) so when he wanted to race one weekend they had one day to get the car more power = not enought time to get a 3Bar map.

The last two rows in the map are therefore tuned to a specific boost, and when these rows are hit at a different boost so get one HELL of a rich mixture. I wasnt running enough boost to get the correct mixture....so I ended up with a power curve similar to the rockies!

Ill be getting a 3BAR and total retune next, but thought I would share this run for those interested. Should be able to pull a LOT more power out of it with a good tune.

First run in red = low boost, right miss and pulled out.
Other two are high boost.
