intercooler differences?

hi guys, i'm going to be building my own v-mount set up and had a question regarding cores. for the size i want i can get a spearco core from turbonetics for about 520 bucks. for a slightly larger core i can get one from bell intercoolers for 350 bucks. my dillema is this: are there really that big of differences between brands to warrant the extra 170 bucks? i don't really know anything about the bell ic's so that's what's keeping me from going with that one. on the other hand i could use that 170 elsewhere on the car. the flowrate that bell claims for this core is 264 cfm's at 10 lbs of boost. the flow rate that spearco has is 1000 cfm's but does not say what the pressure is. they are both bar and plate ic's so could anyone please help me out i'm lost on where to go. thanks.

Why don't you try a Griffin core instead of bell if you want to save money.

I agree, check out the Griffin intercoolers, they are a great intercooler and I doubt you can find a better IC for a cheaper price.
Watch ebay for them too.
