ignition help

I posted this in the 3rd gen section and should have posted it here first. i am trying to figure out what i need for a crane ignition system. i know i need the HI-6 amp and LX92 coils for my leading coils but do i need one amp on each leading coil or just one amp powering both leading coils? For my trailing, should i just run the stock setup? I have a Power FC, A/I mixture of 70/30, and looking for 450whp. Any suggestions is appricated. thanks.

You really don't need all that stuff. Stock everything + HKS Twin Power will work just fine for 450 wheel.

I know alot of people use the twin power and thought of going that route myself but Garfinkle, who is helping me with my install, told me they were about the worst option for upgrading the ignition. He knows alot more than me about the rotarys so i took his advice and didn't consider it. Can you use the twin power with aftermarket coils on the leading plugs? Will aftermarket coils help at all or will it be the same output as the stock coils?

My opinion is that the Twin Power is great for a simple install with good results, great for the DIY mechanic. Personally I strongly believe you can build a MUCH better system than the Twin Power. Take that for what it's worth...

I have been looking into alot of stuff ignition wise and am kind of undecided between a M&W setup or going with two HVC-2 with MSD 6a plus box I still cannot understand though how many MSD boxes I need?

I'm running 4- MSD blaster coils and 3- ignition amps. Absolutely amazing setup. I remember when I first started up my new setup I was idling in the 9's on my wideband, there wasn't a hint of a misfire strangely...
