holset turbo oil leak/advise/ 24v golf sorry

hi all sorry regards its not a rx7,,,but ive a 2.8 24v golf turbo engine which ive fitted into my mk1 golf and made it 4wd , anyway after makeing a twin scroll manifold and fitting a hx40w with a size 18 hotside (bear in mind the turbo was basicly new , im getting oil bypassing into the inlet and boost outlet of the snail , so i had the turbo checked over , and company told me me theres nothing wrong , so i may need a oil restrictor fitting , (carnt understand why when my mates dosent run one ) so i fitted one and its made no differce , then im told it maybe the oil return drain tube size , as i was stuck for spacer and biggist i could make was a 17mm bore returning to the top part of the sump ,(i evern fitted the oil restrictor into a old oil pump and forced old oil thow it , at full flow and dosent chock up the pipe , so im now unsure what the problem is ,so after this im sure its the dam turbo , so ive been and bought another (occhh holset hx40 with a smaller 14cm houseing , ive nearly finished re instailing it , so unsure what may happern, any advise on this problem?
