Holset HX52 oil feed/drain
 
Hi, I searched but haven't found much on my particular turbo (I have the manual) and if I read correct, the oil drain is m16x1.5. Not sure about the feed.
Can anyone confirm this so I can get some lines made up while my turbo is shipped?

The m16x1.5 should be your feed,It is on my holset.

The drain is substantially larger, These turbos need rather large oil drains, something like 19-20mm at a minimum.

The drain should be a flange with two bolt holes on the sides and a large square hole in the centre.

I read on DSM forums the holsets need oil feed restrictor, anyone know the case for rotaries?

So I guess I can just get a flange adapter suited for a t4 turbo or gt42 or something?

I've read the opposite on the this forum, why many saying these turbos like all the oil you can throw at them.

Holsets need as much oil as you can throw at them with the biggest oil return you can possibly have. If your oil pressure also isnt the best you will burn the thrust plate = rebuild. There are many oil drains ideas you can use. My brothers car(300zx) i used stock T2 oil return cut the tube off, took a stepper bit and made the hole bigger, welded a bigger piece of barb to it. Im pretty sure this is what i did haha. Anyhow here is a link, gives you an idea.

That's good to hear. My HX35 hybrid setup is almost complete.

Does anyone know what the oil pressure is off the block, where stock turbo feed lines come from?
