here is my proplem

ok so i installed my t04z single turbo 3 days ago.

car started but was idleling at 2400rpms and was blowing a little bit of light blue smoke and it smelled like gas.. even wen engine got hot it stayed at 2400okay so the next day i started it it was idleling at 800 still blowing blue smoke out the tail pipe.and wen i went back today it was idleling like shit at 500rps and then it staled out and would only run with my foot on the gas but still ran like shit and still blew a lil bit of blue smoke.....

mods.
t04z single turbo
44mm tial wastegate
hkscat back exhaust
front mount greddy intercooler
greddy charge pipe
type rs bov
koyo radiator
alternator pully kit
no c/a
no air pump
apexi power fc with the comander
wideband a/f gauge
still on stock fuel pump and injectors
im not gonna boost it more than 5psi until i get my injectors and pump next month..

i went single because i blew an oil seal on the stock twins and my car turned into a smoke machine.....

Are you sure that the oil seal in the twins was the only thing that went wrong on the car before the swap? Is it possible you're oil control rings were seeping a little oil as well?

Also, what kind of oil pressure is getting fed into the turbo? (any oil mods done to the engine?)

With a to4z Single? Your gonna want to upgrade that as soon as you get your engine sorted out.

im buying the new injectors and walbro pump next week... im not gonna drive the car untill i get them... im juss trying to get it to idle fine. no oil mods yet. the blue smoke is going away little by little...i think its the oil that got on the cat.. its juss burnig out slowly.

okay so i called jason over at rx7store.net and he told me to check the map sensor...and wat i found was that the vaccuum hose from the map sensor was not hooked up to the manifold. so i plugged it in and booom the car ran fine!

so i then went on and did the idle learn with the pfc with all the loads off then after 10 mins did it with the ac on and then 8 mins into it the idle dropped from 1000rpms to 600 and started to pop sounded like a missfire and every time it popped a puff of black smoke came out the tail pipe! so i turnned the car off and tryed again still pops and then the car juss would not run.. so i waited 15 mins went back and did it again all loads off ran fine the with ac on it did the popping and puffing black smoke thing...does anyone know wat the idles should be set to on the pfc?

Check to see what the A/C idle is set to on the Power Fc.

where can i find the instructions for the full proper idle leran proceedure?

Pfc Commander

Use the PFC Commander in one of the settings I believe that there is a reset feature. This will make your car idle like crap for about 15-20 minutes of driving. As the PFC hunt up and down the rev ranges. It will do it all over again once you turn on the a/c as well. If you have a ported motor I suggest that you set the idle at a level where you can hear the car turning over more smoothly (stops doing the lumpy high lift cam like sound.) This usually uses more fuel but is better on the engine I figure. Just my thoughts to help you out.
