This is just an effort to direct more attention to my thread. I've been having some wierd probs with my car and need some help. I'm running out of ideas... Here's the rundown...

Turbocharged N/A (see sig for list of mods)
Car wont boost over 0 psi manifold pressure
Car seems to hit a fuel cut or rev limiter once it tries to hit boost (wont rev any higher, all power lost)
Timing in spec
TPS in spec, replaced anyway
Battery charged
Intercooler ducting checked/bypassed/then checked again
I can see the turbo blades spinning freely, and the boost gauge shows its trying to make boost
I've tried running with both a TII and N/A pressure sensor

The little revs during idle indicates an intake manifold leak (probably the lower intake manifold to engine block).

Your hitting a wall on boost because you're using the stock N/A ECU. The ECU, I believe, would only be mapped for a N/A engine powered car. Thus, the fuel and ignition maps will be programmed from the factory to use the factory map sensor, 1 bar.

Thus, you'll need an ECU that is programmed to handle boost or positive pressure in the intake manifold as well as the map sensor. 2 bar map sensor will handle up to 14psi of boost. 3 bar map sensor will handle up to 30psi of boost.

Try getting an ECU from a FC turbo car as well as the map sensor.

I'd think the same, but several people have had successful turbo n/a projects using the stock ECU + fuel controller (usually Apexi AFC).
