haltech or microtech
im looking for people who have used both and want opinions on which you prefer and why. im looking at either the haltech e6k/x or microtech lt-10s. i know they dont make the e6k anymore, but i have the oppurtunity to buy one, so i just want to know which to go with. so, post away and thanks in advance.

E6K is a really good unit. The microtech is newer and has some faster processing, but over the Haltech, but it still gets the job done. If you can score a good deal on the E6K, it's really worth looking at. In the end though, I think It's about tech support. Not just from the company, but from local tuners.

i agree, go with the system your tunner is more familiar with

Microtech...

Haltech -- Far larger customer base, more support, longer use in the rotary community (7+ years), and trade-able maps.

Use Electromotive and don't worry about having any extra ignition wiring and buying any CDI boxes as well as worrying about ignition accuracy and issues.

thanks to those who gave reasoning with there answer. i was leaning toward haltech and i think im gonna go with it.
thanks |
Go w/ whatever has strong local support/ tuning. I chose microtech w/ no problems to date ( 4years). G

I have used both units on several cars. My choice is haltech e-11 or e-8.
