now before somebody screams search at you, I will politely say please do a search next time, refference what you have thus far learned, then ask questions. That being said....

1st: THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORKING AND WORKS PORPERLY.

so....stand alone computer , no if's and's or but's nothing else will work properly no remapped stockers, no safc's and halfwired BS like most of the forum is always trying to get to work. (look in the EMS section, reccomend power FC easy to deal with)

somebody who knows what they are doing, don't fart around with this one, most engines die due to poor tuning.

850/1680 injectors, associated resistors etc. (search under 1680 injectors)

adjustable FPR (do search on FPR)

fuel pump either a large external, or twins in a surge tank, or fuel cell, too many to list, (search on fuel pumps)

adequate cooling...depends upon expected useage, 1/4 mile, time attack, drift all require diffferent water, oil and intercoolers, along with associated piping. look under the radiator, oil cooler and look at some of the threads that deal with race prepped cars.

heavy duty clutch, act, or twin plate greddy, hks, os giken, or ogura (your personal favorite)

turbine/manifold... depends upon your HP requirements, and your desired spool characteristics.

this si the basics, after that some standard upgrades will be required to actually put that much HP down to the pavement.....tires, wheels suspension, etc.

cheers

i suppose since you're asking the questions, then the best answer you can get is to involve only competent people in the buildup of your car.

Kenn Chan gave a good general rundown of what you need in terms of supporting parts. he included REAL engine management and that's the part i'd like to emphasize. the so-called "reliability issue" is totally dependent on getting a real standalone system and how competent your tuner is. be sure to budget and source both of those during the process.
