Hello Everyone,
Im Planning on going single very soon and i think im going with the Greddy T88 turbo system.

My questions are......

What is the size of the Greddy Type C Wastegate?

Is that the Biggest Wastegate in Production that you can buy?

And, Does that Wastegate come standard with that System?

Well thanks for the input, but i really thought there were alot of T78 and T88 Owners on this forum that could answer my questions :) .

I'm a T-78 owner, but I only have the turbo. I'm using an HKS wastegate. I know that gmonsen has a T-78, poweraxel had one, and rx794 had a T-88. You could try sending them PM's and see if they answer back.

Your using an HKS wastegate?
Is it vented into the atmosphere?

Does it act different with that wastegate?

You're welcome. They should be able to tell you what you need to know. Otherwise you could try giving a shop such as RP a call. I'm just using an HKS standard wastegate vented to the atmosphere. My car was SUPPOSED to be running last week, but my TEC II has a defective ignition sensor. So I won't be able to give you any opinions until I get a new sensor. My friend has a Turbonetics wastegate vented to the atmosphere, and it's LOUD when you go above the specified boost level.

Damn that sux, I hope your car comes back in tip top shape.

When Turbonetics wastegates are vented into the atmosphere they tend to give you nose bleeds ;) .

One of these days I'll get it running. On the plus side: The motor sounds healthy when I crank it.:cool: A nose bleed would be preferable to losing my hearing!

the greddy/mitsubishi T-88 comes with the type-c wastegate which is greddy's largest wastegate...all the wastegates blow out in to the atmosphere besides the HKS kits which already come with a pipe that routes back into the downpipe

Thank you for the info, do you know what size is the type c wastegate?

I have the T-88 kit on my 93 FD, although the specs on the wastegate and the rest of the kit was in Japanese.Sorry.Carl...
