GReddy TD06SH-25G
How does this turbo compare to the gt35r in terms of power and spool up time. I know that the gt35r is twin ballbearing but is the Greddy a ballbearing turbo as well?

So no one has any experience with these?

I take it this question is related to this?
http://forums.780tuners.com/showthre...threadid=53146 Haha, sorry I have no life apparently. |
You should call RX7.com and talk to them. They offer the TD06 as an upgrade for FCs, so I'm sure they could let you know.
That guy you were arguing with on 780tuners is a retard, it won't make anywhere near that much power in normal circumstances. |

:), I agree with the fact that the guy seems like an idiot. I'm also a big GT35R fan, I should have went that route with my build up, but I may go that way in the future.
It's not really worth arguing with people over the internet, there is way too many people who think they know everything. No matter what evidence you show to that guy, he will not change his thinking... |
I have a TD07-25A, I'm making like, MAYBE 450 to the wheels TOPS at 22psi, there is more power to be had but the car is strangled above 7000... car is fast and fun though!.
a TD06 would be worse. But as far as "waiting for spool time" my TD07 spools by like, 3000rpm, not too many turbos can beat that AND make more power. |
None of the Mitsubishi TD-series turbos are ball bearing.

R.K. He only dissed the GT35R because he was trying to sell a turbo by spreading misinformation. Take him for a ride in your car, I'm pretty sure he'll shut up. ;) |

-Ted what is nice though it that they all use the same rebuild parts. |
GReddy TD06SH-25G is not ball baring... :)
|
I have one. There not much better than the twins as far as power goes. The only benifit from using that turbo is you get to eliminate the mess under the plentium.

That's strange. My friend FD3S has pulled 550bhp out of this babe. With street ported motor of course and a lot of goodies. ;) |

My friend runs at ~16psi. Maybe there are two models of this turbo, I can't understand. :( As for the dyno, I was there... :) |
Yeah that has to be a diffrent turbo. The apexi rx6b is larger than the 25g and they dont even make that sort of power.
|
What is the difference between 20 and 25G?

Does anyone know how many fins on the 20g vs. 25g? I was told that you can change the exhaust turbine on the 20g to a 25g wheel. Anyone know about this?
I have a newly rebuilt TD06 20G but I thought I heard the guy tell me that it had a 25 G wheel. I have pics if anyone knows. Thanks |
