Greddy TD06SH 20G 16cm

Well the FD went in today for a rebuild with rotary aviation master kit + large street port! Now it's shopping time!!

I was wondering if anyone has had this turbo kit from Greddy, as I have never owned a Greddy turbo in my life. They say this turbo is good for 350-450hp. The power range is just what I am looking for, a good street car with plenty of power on the track. Any feedback on this turbo kit would be awesome as I will be ordering it. Just curious to see what kind of boost people are pushing with this turbo or something similar to it and how much power they are getting and what the powerband is like.

I know the price is steep for a turbo kit but I don't want to cheap out on parts and piece together a kit myself because this kit comes with everything needed, since my car is a JDM (RHD) vehicle this kit is designed perfectly for it since it is JDM also.

highest dyno I have ever seen was 330whp on an s4 FC, but that was with the stock airflow meter restricting the inlet. It might do 350. It's really not worth the money for an FD that can make that kind of power on stock twins.

if anything I would suggest the 25g over the 20g.
With all the turbo craze from the past 7-8 years there are soooo many people that can provide you a better turbo kit. A TD06 is a baby turbo kit as in it just cant compete with newer turbo kits. Greddy is still using mitsubishi turbo's with technology that is 10 years old for these turbo's. If you can get a TDO6 25g used for a good price then thats a great but there is no reason to go blow that kind of money on a new TD06 20g.

Good luck!

Wow 10 year old technology? Hmm that certainly changed my mind about those turbos lol.... A-Spec 500R/GT35R is looking pretty good in my books right now, plus I like their warranty :D
