Got the car back this week and it drives great . I'm keeping it below 4k, and no boost but I've boosted it a few times. So far I'm seeing 6 psi by 3k with the car untuned and even the boost controller is set to some random setting. I think I'll have no problem hitting full boost (15psi) by around 4k - 4.2k. Turbo sounds great too .

 

moehler what gear is that you are seeing 6psi by 3k rpms?

 

How long until you get it tuned? Glad to see that you're liking it so far. I'm really curious what numbers you'll come up with at 15psi. Best of luck bro!!

2nd, it may be a feww hundred rpms or so off, it's hard to look at both at the same time while driving . As I break her in some more I'll do a few more tests with different gearing and speeds.


I will hopefully get it tuned in 4-6 weeks. It really depends on Dee's (Reactive Racing) schedule and when I get 1000 miles on her. Thanks for the luck .

I'll post some pics of it all cleaned up later today.

 

thats some real nice spool for a turbo that size. i am asking because i have an apex rx6 single right now and i am thinking of going bigger, but i want something that still spools decent. thanks for the info.
