got a few questions, still learning about turbos
 

well first off i hope im posting this in the right part of the forum.
ok so i have 87 turboII, i have all the cats cleaned and the mufflers removed. my car was getting slight boost creep from this, about 7 to 8psi, but now lately since its been getting colder here im creeping to 9 and hitting fuel cut at 10 :icon_tdow
so im wondering what i need to do to get rid of this fuel cut... whether just a manual boost controler will do it or a FCD or...?

does any company/person make new, better flowing turbo manifolds that still use the same bolt on flange for the stock turbo?

third and last ?
is it bad to do any of the 3 port options to a T2 engine? might be a dumb question but im learning about these animals everyday.

as for the "3 port options" I'm not sure what you are referring to. boost controller using a 3 port solenoid?

Spinner for( fuel cut) go to Mazda speed/or Mazmart, or Racingbeat,for the fuel cut Eliminator if you want to increase the flow,Greddy makes one I believe,you can also get good results from porting the stock one ( out flow) to turbo PS don,t go nuts just grind slightly,longer and wider, and make sure the waste still operates. I have and it works,better than stock regarding the 3rd port you have to machine the rotor housing where the old water jacket port to intake is ,with a little porting of the Eng Its said thatyou can get about 350 HP this 3rd port was originally done from Curtis Wrights Rotary program,and I see the Japanese are all over this now...... Port your wastegate to fix your boost creep. FCD isn't a real solution as your eliminating the one thing protecting your engine from overboosting and risking it blowing up. A boost controller will not fix your problem either.

Which way

By the way a fuel cut is set into a stock map for the stock set up to prevent your engine from getting too much boost (at stock Ignition settings) stock injection. If you could set, and control your timing ,according to boost, as well as supply more fuel at higher boost you could (safely) raise your max boost cut of point.In any case its all you can use (fuzzy logic) on a stock Computer to raise your stock boost,you could, however ,remap your stock computer, and correct the computer boost level internally,or spend the money for a stand alone computer
