Going single - GT35R

So, ive got another complete motor to rebuild for my single GT35R setup and just wanted to run a few things by those who have been down this road before.

i have the following to install:

1. GT35R kit from Rx7store
2. fluidyne rad
3. greddy profec B
4. big break upgrade
5. Jacobs FC100 spark amplifier
6. MSD twin tower coil
7. custom race spec plug wires

regarding the motor

1. hurley seals
2. street porting
3. greddy pulleys

a question about the fuel!! :Wconfused :

i have a greddy intake manifold which has 2 additional 850cc injectors planted in it. if i bought an additional controller to run those 2 injectors along with the PFC will i get enough fuel for 1.2Bar..or should i put in an upgraded fuel rail. i have heard that running a setup like this does allow for smoother injector timing .. im a noob so i cannot verify this. im just trying to use what i got.:)

thanks

by greddy intake manifold do you mean compression elbow? I've never heard of an intake manifold by greddy for an fd.

I wouldnt recommend hurley seals since they are too soft and can break easily. Just stick with OEM seals or get ceramics if you can afford it.

Don't forget a upgraded fuel pump

configuring those two holes in your greddy manifold seems to be like a PITA, just upgrade your fuel system from the pump to the injectors

sorry, its the throttle elbow and not the intake.

about the hurley seals. they were readily available here in south africa, hence the reason for purchasing them. i had read conflicting reports about them on this site...what to do....:wallbash:

anyone have anything good to say about them?

Hurley seals are absolute junk. The blow at the slightest hint of detonation. Sure, they don't damage the internals, but you still need a rebuild. Stay far far away.

Do they call them Hurley's because they like to hurl?

Lol!
