Fuel flow direction?

I am wondering if it matters from which direction I run the fuel through the rails. I have always done it from the stock lines at the firewall to a "Y" block. Then run the fuel into the front of both rails (being the front side of the car) then run the flow out through back of the rails (closer to the firewall) then into the FPR and onto the return line.

Is there any reason I would not be able to run the fuel flow in the reverse. First into the back side of the rail and then out of the front side? I don't see why not but I thought I'd better check to make sure this would not create some unforseen problem.

Thanks

Doesn't matter which route. I have mine Y'd in the back and enter each rail in the back. The FPR is in the front. Since you have the FPR by the firewall it makes sense to run it in the other direction.

The only concern would be making sure that you have slack on the lines from the rails to the FPR if the FPR is mounted on the firewall. And the lines don't touch anything. If you have solid mounts, it should be less of a concern.

I am mounting the FPR in the front of the UIM this time which is why I wanted to make sure it was ok to run the fuel in the other direction. Thanks for the reply. You have confirmed my suspicions.
As far as slack in the lines. I know to leave room for engine torque. Thanks for watching out for me though. I appreciate it.
