Fc turbo manifold on an fd?

Would a single turbo manifold for an fc fit on an fd? are the clearances the same from the engine to the frame rails?

well i know that FD single turbo manifolds won't fit on an FC so it's probably a no

they fit on the JDM FD3S not sure about the US models.......

a guy fitted a second Gen turbo and manifold unto his FD here in Trinidad and it worked.

All the bolt holes should line up. You will more than likely have a clearence problem though due to the fact the FD manifold hugs tighter to the LIM. When you look under the hood of a FC they have plunty of clearence. I have a FC HKS manifold that I am going to use on my RE motor. The only difference was that the center iron plate is larger than the FC. So in this case I have to grind down some metal on the manifold to clear the raised area on the bottom of the center plate. Hope this answers your question.

FD LIM hugs the engine more, so you'll have more clearance that way.
The problem is that the FD3S has less clearance from the engine to the frame rail / strut tower.
If I remember the actual numbers, FC3S has like ~ 10.5", but the FD3S has like < 9.5", so you lose like over an inch in clearance.

So, if you run small turbine A/R's then it should be okay.
I'd worry if you wanna run big turbine A/R's?
