Exedy Triple Disc

This thread has been reposted from the 20B Forum for hopefully more help due to more exposure - very sorry if this is against Forum Rules.

Anyone have any experience with the Exedy Hyper Multi Triple Disc Clutch? For a ~920 rwhp and ~540 lb/ft (from formulas around the webs) track only/time attack race car will it perform well? Open to any other recommendations for better options for this specific use? (although preferably Exedy) Also, does anyone know if I can use an Evo clutch on an FD? They have the exact same input shaft spline count and the exact same spline size so wondering if I can use them? Since Exedy doesn’t make heavy duty triple discs (Code MM023HR) for FDs that I can find anywhere. I assume no since the flywheel bolt pattern likely isn’t the same but is there a way where I can use the Evo clutch?

you should probably clarify what transmission you intend to use.

A basic triple or twin should probably hold that power fine. The real question is, unless you are running a full albins straight cut gearset or similar and a base plate on the factory case, how long will a factory gearset last? Yes a clutch box should be able to transmit 50% more power/torque from a 20b than a 13b due to the impulse distribution but a 600hp 13b in a track car won't be real friendly to a factory box at all.
