Cosmic Question

Where in the states can I get New Intake and Exhaust Gaskets for the'95 13B Cosmo?

They are not exactly 3rd Gen either.. The intake ports are larger. I need a whole set if possible.

Thanks!!

You can probably use an RX-7 gasket for the manifold/engine gasket. If you can't get the intake gaskets then you could just buy some gasket paper and make them. That has worked for me.

Me and Setzep made our from gasket material... Theres a place here in town that will make them, but they charge a few pennies for it :)

Also might be an idea to check around Australia, they seem to have a lot of cosmo's there :)

I am not sure, but are the american Mazda dealers lazy, or just useless?
I see so many questions here from people wanting to know where to get brand new parts.

The Cosmo was never sold in any country other than Japan, yet in Australia i believe you can get engine parts from Mazda and in NZ you definitely can.
All they have to do is get the part numbers from somewhere, which they should just get from Japan and order the parts.

I feel sorry for you guys.

So try Mazda USA, and tell them to get off their arses, use the phone and order them if they say they can't.

Yes, Mazda dealers had (still have?) one of the worst customer satisfaction records in the past few years.&nbsp About 10 years ago, Mazda USA was quietly reorganizing their dealer networks to acquire better dealerships that could offer better customer service.&nbsp I dunno if most people realize that existing Mazda dealership kinda came and went a few years ago, but I think it has stabilized by now.

About ordering non-USA parts from the Mazda dealer - don't even bother.&nbsp If the part number doesn't register in their database (US-only), they will deny the part even exists.&nbsp They will certainly refuse to special order something from Japan that doesn't even pop up on their computers.&nbsp Your best bet is to contact Mazda Comp/Motorsports/Mazdaspeed...
