Broad question, but need some input

Within a year, i plan on going single. What i would like is to make 350-400rwhp on pump gas (Is this safely possiable?) What i would like is a general idea of a turbo that can make that much hp, and if possiable, have a fairly quick spool. Can you make 350-400rhwp on a stock port engine below 15psi?

Also, how much $$ am i going to be spending on this and a haltech, bigger injectors, etc.

I know these are broad questions, but i'd just like to get an idea of what i'm looking at spending, for my addiction.:D

Thanks, CJ

The XS T04E kit is a good choice for your goals. The A'PEXi RX6 meets your goals, too, but the turbo is not rebuildable in the U.S. (expensive when you pop the motor) and I have had some trouble with the A'PEXi wastegate in road racing use on my car, so I recommend the XS kit over the A'PEXi one.

You'll also need tons of other stuff, as you seem to be aware. How much you spend on that other stuff is often listed and debated, so you might do well by searching for "injectors" or something and see what turns up. My opinion is that it costs at least $6,000 to get the big parts you need to go single (including the turbo kit) and usually $10,000+ to get it all sorted out (including lots of little $50-$400 incidental parts) and tuned ($500+) as you want it to be. Most people seem to need at least one rebuild in the process, which adds another $5,000-ish on top of that. That assumes you are starting with a stock car.

You'll hear many more opinions on this, but the people who are going through (like me) or have been through this process are usually the ones that estimate on the high end of the scale. Single turbos aren't cheap.

Go fast parts are like crack, I am hooked, and that is just the way it goes. ;)

Turbo--> 60-1 with a .70 compressor housing with either a .81 or .96 open or .84 or 1.0 divided turbine housing using a P or Q-trim turbine wheel!
Power--> Presently tuning an 88 TII with a stock motor that's using the above turbo and power so far checks in at 340RWHP at 12.5psi.
