Bridgeport Exhaust to quiet it down

I'm looking at a FC3S bridgeport, GT42, 3" dp custom dual exhaust. Baby is fast as hell but tooo damm loud..its gonna get me pulled over everytime I take it out.

Any suggestions on an exhaust that can help quiet it down?

Thanks!

i just ordered something that may work... i wanted to be able to run a loud exhaust and make lots of power and then have a cockpit adj thing to quiet it when in town.

Apexi lists something called an "Exhaust Control Valve." it is an adj butterfly in your exhaust. i bought PN 155-A019. that's for a 3 inch pipe and is a section of pipe i will weld in just behind my midpipe.

they also offer one that is a flange setup. you just bolt it between your flanges.
A023...

you don't close it, just a bit from full open.

it is supposedly backordered and due in in about 3 weeks.

we will see... i think it will work for me.

No waiting. I'm planning on running one on my FD when I get around to putting it together. Cork up the exhaust behind the downpipe to keep it quiet then install one of these in between. Activate it through the EMS to open at a preset throttle angle.

I have a Vibrant 3" straight through "ultra quiet" resonator on mine and it has helped greatly.

i actually have my exhaust system about right soundwise now but want to open it up a bit as it has proved way too restrictive on the dyno..

currently i have two 3 inch downpipes from my two TO4 turbos. they slip into a 2 into 1 Burns Stainless which V bands into a Borla #40944 straight thru 3 inch and into a RacingBeat catback single outlet.

the catback is holding my motor back on the dyno.

i am switching it for a Turbo Tuff which is alot louder. too loud for the street.

my plan is to add the butterfly valve into the catback and to close it a tad around town.

the Summit item (above) wouldn't work as it diverts the exhaust out into the atmosphere (miles too loud) or you would have to add another exhaust onto it... to much stuff under the car.
