Bought myselfve a TURBO!
Ok now its a done deal, after talking to my turbo dealer for a few hours and many many hours online i made a choice
T04Z (ball bearing) with t4 divided 1.0ar turbine housing BUT with a T04S compressor (modified 60-1 ford motorsport comp wheel) So i guess i can call it a p-trim ball bearing t04s? My goals is in the 400rwhp+ range with durability and good response. I also kept the t04z compressorhousing and wheel for the future :-), they also said that if i am not happy they can machine a gtx35r komp housing and wheel to fit this chra so i get something like a tdx61r or something like that. Will be posting a dynosheet later this summer. What do you guys think of the setup? |
Sounds like you're going to get similar spool with less power.

i hope spool will be skmilar as gt35r but with less backpressure and with the option to go all out next year with the t04z comp

in other words, you have a bb t04s 60-1 with p-trim, very common turbo on rx-7's

I made 440rwhp, street port, hkts t04s 60-1 p-trim at 18.5psi. Full boost by 3400rpms. Should be perfect for your goal. I'm doing the opposite and moving up to the T04Z/R 67mm compressor wheel. Guys are making 500-530rwhp between 20-23psi.
